To cap all recent events of catastrophe. 1) I forgot to go to the endo appt at the hospital. and tremendously- 2) My helper is LEAVING. She only flippin' resigned. apparently life here is much too stressful and she is not emotionally strong enough to cope. I am ANGRY I am UPSET I am just MISERABLE Richard was an hour late home and Michael was at football training so my father in law was livid at having to wait for him for 45mins in the cold. I am not going to say things could be worse. Because of course there is always room for worse. thankyou for reading! Love Jenni xx how to be a velvet bulldoser

Gosh Jenni, - if it doesn't rain it pours, whatever next, look at this way, it can only get better and it must.
Your helper leaving now is bad timing, but with the current levels of unemployment I hope it wont be long until, you never know, the perfect helper terns up.
Don't be hard on yourself you've got a lot on your plate, if you call the Endo department and explain perhaps they might be able to offer you a cancellation or slot you in?
Love, Barbara XXXXXX

o Jenni hope u find a new PA very soon, what a shock but obviously not right if not able to offer emotional support!? O, I wish we all lived on the same street just one door after each other then we could take it in turns to help each other, that would be perfect! .......not able to offer emotional support? What sort of help is that? :( Hope u find someone perfect, magical and maybe even a little bit Mary Poppins'ish very soon, xxxxx

Oh Jennie, when will you get a break from hassel? Others are right, your next PA might be stronger - you certainly don't need someone around you who can't cope with emotions. As for your poor f-i-l, I bet he was glad it wasn't YOU waiting in the cold.
I hope that a weekend of TLC from your man gets you through.

Dear Jenni,
I am also sorry to hear that your PA is leaving but sorry for her as well. If she doesn't have empathy and the ability to cope and care about the people that she is supporting then she is best gone as she is not up to the task. There will be someone out there who has all the qualities that you would wish and which you have in abundance yourself. How much notice have you been given?
Thinking of you,
Eleanor x

Sorry to hear this Jenni - two steps forward, one step back! Will she have to serve a notice period to give you time to get someone else?

Sorry Jenni - just asked this question on another thread by mistake. You can't accept this Jenni please. When you have everything in place for Gemma and sorted what you are going to do about an assistant you must chase this up. Does your GP know?
